Billing Statement Messages

Starting with version 4.5, Goldenseal accounting software lets you add custom messages on your Billing Statements.

NOTE-- This is a very nifty feature that is already found in Estimates, Sales and several other types of records. We just didn't think to fully implement it in Billing Statements.

How to Use

To add a message that you can show on printed forms, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Income Setup from the Sales menu, and choose Messages from the submenu.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Enter the message text, and the name you'd like to use for the message.
  4. Click OK.

To add a message to a Billing Statement, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Message clairvoyant field.
  2. Enter the message you'd like to show on printed forms.

NOTE-- Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 4.5, the stock printed forms for Billing Statements automatically show the Message field.
