Employee Benefit Payments

Problem

In Goldenseal payroll software versions 4.32 and earlier, the Pay Bills command does not include employee benefits, where there is a deduction from the employee and then a payment to an insurance or tax agency.

Caught By

User bug report.

Workaround

Enter the payment as a Tax Item instead.

Solution

This problem is fixed in Goldenseal payroll software, versions 4.4 and later.
