Labor Hours-- Time Fill-in

Feature

In Goldenseal time tracking software version 4.3, we've made it easier to fill in employee hours. When you add new rows to a Category or Items breakdown, Goldenseal automatically fills in the end time from the previous row.

How to Use

To enter employee hours on a project, when you want to keep track of different types of work, or work hours on different days, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Labor Hours from the Costs menu.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Enter Category into the Breakdown popup field on the left.
  4. Fill in the Employee, job worked on, and other details.
  5. Click in the first row of the breakdown table, near the bottom of the layout.
  6. Type in details about the first work done by the employee during the pay period. Enter a start time, end time, and category of work. You can also type in a brief description of what was done.
  7. Hit the Enter key or Return key to add a new row. Goldenseal will start the new work right after the previous work.
  8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have entered all work on this project, during the current pay period.
