Printer Flag in Accounts

Problem

After printing, Goldenseal does not turn off the printer flag in account records.

This problem only occurs when printing directly from account records (e.g. for mailing lists). When printing checks, invoices and other transactions, the printer flag works properly.

Caught By

Turtlesoft testing.

Workaround

In Goldenseal 4.2 and earlier, click the printer icon in the lower left corner, to turn it off in the current record. If you have printed multiple records, do the following to mark all the found records as "already printed":

  1. Click on the printer icon in the lower left corner, to turn it off.
  2. Choose Replace All from the Edit menu.
  3. Choose Printer Flag from the list of fields, then click OK.
  4. Goldenseal will turn off the flag in all found records.

Solution

Goldenseal 4.3 fixes this problem. After account records are printed, it will automatically turn off the printer flag.
