Faster Client Menus

Starting with Goldenseal small business software version 4.0, there will be less delay when showing a clairvoyant menu, when working on the multi-user version as a client.

HINT-- This speed-up is most noticeable when working over a VPN from a remote location, especially when you are showing a large menu with many hundreds or thousands of items.

How to Use

You don't need to do anything special. Menus will just be a bit faster.

Technical Details

We greatly reduced the amount of data that needs to pass over the network, when the Goldenseal accounting software fills in menus. Instead of fetching whole records, Goldenseal can now just pass the list of names through the network.
