Starting with Goldenseal 3.9, it's now easier to enter hours into a Working Hours record.

How to Use

To enter working hours for project scheduling, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Cost Setup from the Costs menu, and choose Working Hours from the submenu.
  2. Click the New button, or double-click on an existing set of hours, to open it.
  3. Click in the Start Time for Monday.
  4. Type in the starting hours.
  5. Hit the tab key to move to the next time field, and type in the beginning of lunch.
  6. Hit the tab key again, and type in the end of lunch.
  7. Hit the tab key again, and type in the end of working hours.
  8. Hit the tab key again, and enter the start of work for the next day.
  9. Repeat steps 4 to 8 for each working day.

Technical Details

Goldenseal construction scheduling software used to "error check" and not let you type in a date that was after the date in the next field. That meant that you had to enter times "back to front".

Now, if you type in a time, Goldenseal adjusts the time in all later fields.
