Manufacturing (Possible Feature)

What changes are we planning for Manufacturing support?

For manufacturers, we can create a Manufacturing Batch transaction in Goldenseal accounting software, which will reduce the inventory quantity of raw materials (Cost Items) and create inventory of finished goods (Assemblies). It would be designed to handle production runs, manufacturing batches and other productive activities.

NOTE-- You can already add or reduce inventory quantities with an Inventory Transfer. However, a Manufacturing transaction would be more convenient, and more related to managing manufacturing processes.

Most of our users are construction companies who do not need this feature, and we also haven't found any reason to use it in our software business or other businesses we manage. However, if you are a manufacturer and would like to beta test this feature, please let us know and we will introduce it in a future update.
