Firewall Settings for Goldenseal |
How do I set my Windows firewall to allow Goldenseal to run? Your computer firewall protects you against malicious attacks by outside parties, who could otherwise gain access to your computer via the Internet. You'll need to set your Windows firewall to allow the multi-user version of Goldenseal accounting software to use your network. Otherwise, it won't be able to send information between the computers on your network. Windows Firewall To set the firewall in Windows Vista or 7, follow these steps:
NOTE-- Windows will also prompt you, the first time you run Goldenseal multi-user, and you can allow it through the firewall then. To set the firewall in Windows XP, follow these steps:
